World’s second largest hospitality group Accor has announced the opening of Swissôtel Tbilisi, marking the debut of its premium brand in Georgia and the South Caucasus region.
In a press statement, Accor says that located in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgian capital, and close to the renowned Rustaveli Avenue and a stone’s throw from the famous Dry Bridge and its authentic flea market, the new flagship hotel is surrounded by a variety of sought-after attractions, including theatres, museums, as well as entertainment and shopping districts.
The statement adds that Swissôtel Tbilisi combines contemporary interiors, high-quality amenities, and the world-class service of the Swissôtel brand, which stands for quality, efficiency and care. The new opening adds to a growing portfolio of Accor hotels in Georgia, now including eight hotels in the country.

The French hotel group says that created by Sundukovy Sisters design and architecture studio, the hotel’s interiors provide a welcoming and elegant atmosphere, with floral patterns, decorative elements and neutral tones. Swissôtel Tbilisi boasts a collection of 130 rooms, including various accommodation options. The new property also includes the Swissôtel signature Vitality Room, a space designed to help guests maintain their mental and physical well-being while away from home, it adds.
According to the statement, restaurants at the hotel include Atmosphere, a seventh-floor high-rise restaurant and bar offering Asian cuisine and signature cocktails, Café Swiss for authentic Swiss delicacies, and Olives serving Mediterranean cuisine as well as a varied breakfast buffet in relaxing settings. Other amenities include the signature Pürovel Spa & Sport, inspired by the changing Alpine seasons, as well as a fitness centre with a swimming pool, sauna and hammam. It also offers four fully-equipped and versatile event, and is located 30 minutes away from Tbilisi International Airport, making it easier for international travellers visiting for business or leisure.
