Indian airline IndiGo has announced the launch of direct tri-weekly flights from New Delhi to Georgian capital Tbilisi, reinforcing trade, economic and cultural ties between the two countries.

Largest airline in India, IndiGo, continues to expand its international footprint as the airline announces the addition of yet another international destination on its direct route network.

According to a press statement by IndiGo, it has launched a thrice-weekly direct flight from New Delhi to Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, making the 29th international and 107th overall destination in the 6E network.

The flights will leave New Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 20:10 reaching Tbilisi at 00:45 the next day. On the return leg, the flights will depart Tbilisi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 01:45 landing in New Delhi at 07:10.

The statement adds that with this, IndiGo becomes the first airline to provide direct connectivity between the two cities, reinforcing trade, economic and cultural ties. This new air bridge represents a ‘significant milestone’ in strengthening the deep-rooted connections between India and Georgia. 

As Tbilisi and Delhi share commonalities in rich history and vibrant culture, customers will benefit from the connection between these two dynamic cities, says IndiGo.
