Jazeera Airways began its India operations with Hyderabad in October 2017

Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has completed five years in India, registering a rapid growth serving 8 destinations in India with direct flights to Kuwait and onwards. The airline hopes to grow even faster in the future.

Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline, which completed five years of operations in India, has grown extensively in the country, rising from just one flight to a single destination to 30 direct flights to eight different cities in India.

Jazeera Airways began its India operations with Hyderabad in October 2017, the airlines is now taking customers from India to not just Kuwait, but also beyond to numerous onward destinations.

Just last month, the airline started its service to Bangalore in India on November 3, flying to the Garden City of India two times a week on Thursdays and Saturdays.

According to a press statement by Jazeera Airways, Romana Parvi, its Regional Manager – South Asia recently participated at the SATTE GENX Connect 2022, a hybrid initiative from South Asia’s largest Travel and Tourism exhibition held in Chennai and was one of the speakers in the session India Outbound: Developing Tamil Nadu as One of the Fastest Growing Source Markets.

“Despite the challenges faced by the business community, the airline was able to support their growth and the future looks bright,” Parvi told the gathering.

The management at Jazeera Airways also took the opportunity of successfully marking one year of operations to Chennai by thanking its trade partners for extending their support at an award show in the city on November 2.

Jazeera Airways operates commercial and cargo flights out of its Jazeera Terminal T5 at Kuwait International Airport. The airline flies to 55 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa and Europe comprising high-demand business, leisure and weekend destinations, says the statement.
