Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline, that has an extensive network connecting India to the Gulf country as well as several onward destinations across the Middle East and Europe, recently conducted events to celebrate the launch of direct flights to Bengaluru and also to mark one year of successful operations to Chennai.
According to a press statement, Jazeera Airways started its service to Bengaluru on November 3, flying to the Garden City of India two times a week on Thursdays and Saturdays. This launch comes as part of their expansion in India and with Bengaluru, Jazeera Airways now flies to all destinations available under the bilateral arrangement between the two countries.
On the occasion of successful one year of operations to Chennai, the airline organised events to thank its trade partners for extending their support. Top 10 travel agents were also recognised and awarded at an award show in the city last week.
The press statement adds that having started its India operations with Hyderabad in October 2017, Jazeera Airways has quickly grown in the last five years serving from 5 to 8 destinations in India and currently has 30 direct services to Kuwait and beyond from India.
The Bengaluru flight will leave at 02:00 every Friday and Sunday reaching Kuwait at 04:55, while the incoming flight leaves Kuwait at 17:55 on Thursday and Saturday and reaches at 01:15 the next day. The Chennai flight is four times per week, says the press statement.
