Radisson has announced plans to set up its first Radisson Collection Hotel in Paris.

Radisson Hotel Group, an American luxury hotel chain, says it will set up its first property under its Radisson Collection brand in Paris.

In a press statement, the hotel says that the new property in the French capital is part of the mixed-use BPM or Beats Per Minute development on Rue de Rivoli, close to the Louvre and the Pompidou Centre.

The statement adds that the hotel is scheduled to open in early 2027, and will join recent Radisson Collection openings in Europe including Radisson Collection Hotel, Roma Antica, and Radisson Collection Hotel, Santa Sofia Milan.

The hotel says that an existing heritage-protected Haussman building is being redeveloped to house 3,000 sqm of retail space on the ground floor, with office space on the second to fourth floors and the Radisson Collection hotel from the fifth to the eighth floors.

The property will feature “a spectacular green rooftop” which will be open to the public, with facilities including a seventh floor restaurant and rooftop bar.

The group’s Radisson Collection Hotel Berlin, which has been closed since December 2022 when the huge aquarium in its lobby burst, is set to reopen at the end of the year, and will feature a new centrepiece ‘Living Tree’.

In December Radisson announced plans to open a Radisson Blu property within the forthcoming Tour Triangle development in Paris. The 180-metre-high glass and steel pyramid skyscraper, designed by Herzog and de Meuron, will be situated within the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles.
