Radisson Hotel Group has announced plans to open a Paris property within the forthcoming Tour Triangle development. According a press statement by the hotel group, the 180-metre-high glass pyramid skyscraper, which will be designed by Herzog & de Meuron, will be situated within the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles.

Scheduled to open in 2026, it is set to be the first high-rise tower to be built within the city’s Boulevard Périphérique ring road in over 50 years, since Tour Montparnasse was opened in the 1970s.

The statement adds that a 128-room Radisson Blu hotel will occupy six floors of the development, alongside offices, retail space, a cultural centre, a nursery, a health centre, co-working space, “panoramic lifts”, a restaurant and an observatory overlooking the city.

The hotel’s interiors will be designed by French firm Dion & Arles, and features will include a sky bar and panoramic restaurant, as well as a boardroom and fitness centre.

Radisson Hotel Group says it has 23 properties either open or under development in France, six of which are located in Paris including Hotel YAC Paris Clichy which recently joined the group’s Radisson Individuals brand.

“The arrival of a player such as the Radisson Hotel Group, more than two years before the opening of The Triangle, is a strong signal that demonstrates the attractiveness of this iconic project, which will offer an unrivaled experience for tourists and Parisians. The Triangle will contribute to Paris’ influence, accompany its economic development, and participate to its environmental transition thanks to its energy efficiency,” says Vincent Jean-Pierre, Managing Director, Offices France and Mixed-Use Projects Europe at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the developer of the property.
