Joining the fleet of Spanish hotel chain Meliá Hotels is its latest Cuban property, Meliá Trinidad Peninsula, with 401-keys and a design to particularly cater to the MICE segment.

Spanish hotel chain Meliá Hotels International continues its expansion drive with the addition of its latest property, Meliá Trinidad Peninsula, in Cuba.

In a press statement, the hotel says that Meliá Trinidad Península is particularly committed to the MICE segment, with four spacious venues that can accommodate over 1,400 attendees. The hotel features a convenient independent reception area for events and outdoor areas, the beach, pool and gardens can be alternative locations to organise the events.

Meliá Trinidad Peninsula is nestled in one of the country’s most iconic areas with views of the beachfront and Sierra del Escambray. Located just 15 minutes from Trinidad’s old town, one of the Caribbean’s best-preserved colonial cities and a World Heritage Site, the hotel offers an opulent experience, says the statement.

It adds that the property is surrounded by large outdoor spaces with swimming pools and gardens overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and features 401 rooms. Select few boast sea views, with 80 of them being ‘The Level,’ which offers guests over 18 years of age a more personalised stay and access to unique spaces and services. It also has a selection of swim-up rooms with access to their own swimming pool). 

Meliá Trinidad Península offers a dining experience with 14 restaurants and bars curating the best international cuisine and wellness areas such as the YHI Spa, adds the statement.
