Aimed at strengthening the bond with Indian market, the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism of Oman recently conducted a three-city sales mission.
In a press statement, Oman Tourism says that the mission commenced on April 15 from Delhi to continue its journey to Ahmedabad April 19 and concluded successfully in Lucknow on April 23.
Following the sales mission, Oman Tourism is poised to launch joint marketing promotion campaigns in the Indian market to further amplify the destination’s allure and accessibility to Indian travellers.
Oman Tourism says that the sales mission witnessed active participation of delegates from Oman, including Saada Abdullah Saif Al Harthi, Director for Business Development Department, Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Zainab Suliman Al Shamli, Marketing Specialist.
The board says that the mission programme was devised to enhance joint marketing promotions in the Indian market and tailored to engage key trade partners from each city, ensuring a focused and interactive platform.
The primary focus of the mission was to promote Oman as an ideal destination for luxury travellers from India, capitalising on the cultural synergies shared between the two nations, the statement adds.
It says that the presentations also included Oman’s national carriers, Oman Air and Salam Air with Oman Tourism’s detailed showcase of the Sultanate’s myriad attractions.
