IndiGo says that these flights will operate three times a week
Low-cost carrier, IndiGo, has announced new direct flights between Mumbai and Colombo starting from April 12, making Mumbai the fourth city in India with direct connectivity offered by the country’s largest airline.
In a press statement, IndiGo says that these flights will operate three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and will play a key role in enhancing connectivity between the financial capital of India, Mumbai, and the capital of Sri Lanka.
Mumbai will join Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai on IndiGo’s network of cities in India offering direct connectivity to Colombo.

The airline adds that flight 6E1185 will depart from Mumbai every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 06:55, reaching Colombo at 09:35, the same day. On the return leg, the flight 6E1186 will depart from Colombo at 10:35 and reach Mumbai at 13:10 the same day.
IndiGo says that customers who wish to plan their travel can book tickets via its official website or through its mobile app.
