India’s leading online travel company MakeMyTrip has announced a new exclusive charter service connecting Mumbai to Bhutan as part of its holiday packages offering. 

In a press statement, the travel firm says that  not only does the launch of charters bring the Himalayan Kingdom closer to travellers, but it also opens new avenues for Indian tourists to unparalleled travel experiences through a comprehensive suite of services, bundled in.  

The statement adds that Bhutan, renowned for its rich cultural heritage and awe-inspiring landscapes, consistently ranks among the top international destinations for Indian travellers. In fact, it is one of the five most searched emerging destinations on the MakeMyTrip platform, witnessing an impressive 200 pc year-on-year growth. 

MakeMyTrip says that its latest offering bridges the connectivity gap and ensures seamless travel from the outset. Travellers can embark on spiritual excursions, brewery tours, and explorations of hidden gems, all while experiencing Bhutanese traditions in their purest form.

The statement adds that with over a decade’s experience in curating charter trips, this latest offering in part of about 10 such curations by the company. The Bhutan exclusive charter will depart once a week and the package includes direct return charter flights to Paro from Mumbai, accommodation at iconic properties, airport transfers, sight-seeing, curated Bhutanese experiences, breakfasts & dinners, travel insurance and local SIM cards. The company says that the seven-night, eight-day package is from April 27 at prices starting from INR 59,990 per person.
