Air France, the flag carrier of France, has outlined plans to extend its network in North America to a total of 23 cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico this summer.

In a press statement, the carrier says it will resume daily flights between Paris CDG and Minneapolis on May 13, a route served by joint venture partner Delta in summer 2023.

It will also extend its Paris-Raleigh-Durham service into summer 2024, which it took over from Delta in October last year. Air France plans to operate up to seven flights per week operated by A350-900 aircraft, it adds.

Outlining its North American destinations for summer 2024, Air France says that in the United States its destinations will include Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York JFK, Newark, Raleigh-Durham, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington, DC.

In Canada, the carrier is set to cover Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City, Toronto and Vancouver, whereas it will serve Cancun and Mexico City in Mexico.

The statement adds that globally, the carrier will add seven destinations to its summer 2024 schedule, including new nonstop flights to Verona in Italy, Kalamata in Greece and the Narvik-Lofoten Islands in Norway. The airline’s winter service to the Norwegian city Tromso will be extended into the summer and recently launched flights to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates will also operate throughout summer 2024, says the carrier.
