Promoting regional travel in order to boost revival of the industry, not only in India, but also its neighbourhood, was the theme of 66th TAAI Convention, which saw participation of several regional tourism destinations like Nepal, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. It was also the first TAAI Convention to be held aboard a cruise ship, the Spectrum of the Seas of Royal Caribbean.
