Flow of tourists from India, along with other South Asian nations, was the fastest to recover in 2022 for Dubai. The Emirate is now targetting segments like luxury, destination weddings as well as Gen Z from India, says Bader Ali Habib, Head of Region, South Asia of Dubai Department of Economy & Tourism. Habib says that cruise is another segment that is attracting Indian travellers to Dubai, adding that he is seeing greater footfall from Tier 2 cities across India.
