US-based Hyatt hotels subsidiary Alila Hotels and Resorts says it is focussing on sustainable travel with eco-luxury experiences in its Alila Jabal Akhdar and Alila Hinu Bay hotels in Oman

In a press statement, the group says it has EarthCheck Certifications in both the hotels and made significant strides in reducing plastic waste.

Located amidst the Omani mountains, Alila Jabal Akhdar draws inspiration from Oman’s forts where the interiors are handcrafted within the local communities of Bahla Nizwa and the mountains.

The property comprises villas and suites, with each room designed to offer canyon views. Each room features a balcony or patio and the family suite includes two bedrooms with bunk beds for children.
