Malaysia Airlines commences direct flights between Ahmedabad & Kuala Lumpur

The airline adds that its MH106 flight will depart from KUL at 18:50 every Tuesday and Friday and MH208 flight will depart at 23:00 every Wednesday and Saturday

Following the commencement of direct operations from Amritsar and Thiruvananthapuram last month, Malaysia Airlines has now introduced direct four times weekly flights between Ahmedabad and Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia Airlines, Malaysia’s national carrier, has introduced new  operations between Ahmedabad (AMD) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL) from December 1. 

In a press statement, Malaysia Airlines says its inaugural flight departed from Kuala Lumpur via MH106 to arrive at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at 21:40 pm and on the return leg it departed at 22:40 pm local time via flight MH107.

The airline also says that beginning January 15, 2024, the airline will be increasing its frequency to Amritsar from two times weekly to four times weekly following strong demands and load factor performance.

This development follows the commencement of Malaysia Airlines’ direct operations from Amritsar and Thiruvananthapuram last month. With the addition of direct services from Ahmedabad, the airline will be operating 65 weekly flights to India from nine key hubs, adds the statement. 

The airline adds that its MH106 flight will depart from KUL at 18:50 every Tuesday and Friday and MH208 flight will depart at 23:00 every Wednesday and Saturday. On the return leg, flight MH107 will depart from AMD at 22:40 every Tuesday and Friday while flight MH209 will depart at 02:55 every Thursday and Sunday.
