Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost airline, has added three additional European destinations in preparation for the 2023 summer travel season. The new destinations joining the Jazeera network are Munich in Germany, Serbian capital Belgrade and Albanian capital Tirana.

In a press statement, Jazeera Airways says that it will also resume its service to Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. The statement adds that bookings for flights to all of these locations are currently available on the airline’s website or the Jazeera App. Jazeera now flies to 62 locations in Europe, the Middle East, Central & South Asia, and Africa as a result of the new cities being added to its network.

According to the statement, Munich, the Bavarian capital is becoming a popular leisure and business destination in Germany, with a variety of activities to suit different interests – both outdoors or indoors. One of Europe’s oldest cities, Belgrade is centrally located and one of the easiest places to reach in the Balkans. Tirana, the Albanian capital is also the country’s largest city. Known for its colourful architecture, Tirana extends to the plain of Tirana in the centre of Albania between a mountain in the east, hills in the south, and a valley to the north overlooking the Adriatic Sea.

The airline adds that while the ‘‘City of a Hundred Spires”, Prague lies at the heart of Europe and is full of great places to visit and delicious food to try, while Sarajevo, a prominent center of culture in the Balkans, influences entertainment, media, fashion and the arts region-wide.

“At Jazeera we always endeavour to expand our network and offer passengers more affordable choices for direct flights from Kuwait. This summer, we have these great destinations in Europe on offer for the leisure market in Kuwait, as well as connecting passengers from around our network. We expect there will be a strong demand for all of them,” says Rohit Ramachandran, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways.

Flights to Sarajevo will restart on April 20 and to Prague will begin on June 8, says the airline.
