As it continues to rapidly expand its international footprint, India’s largest airline now looks eastwards, with the commencement of direct flights from Delhi to Hong Kong from October 5.

India’s largest airline, IndiGo, which has been on a frenzied drive to expand its international network over the past several months has now begun looking eastwards for new destinations. The airline says it will start a direct flight from Delhi to Hong Kong from October 5.

In a press statement, IndiGo says that this route not only strengthens the ties between the two dynamic cities but also underscores Hong Kong’s significance as a vital business and travel hub in Asia-Pacific region.

The airline says that these flights are tailored to cater to the escalating travel and trade demands between India and Hong Kong, providing customers with an extended range of flight options to enhance accessibility and facilitate seamless travel.

Notably, it has earned the title of the ‘Culinary Capital of India’ for its diverse and delectable food offerings. Beyond its leisure attractions, Hong Kong holds immense potential as a thriving business hub, inviting global entrepreneurs to explore lucrative trade possibilities.

The airline says that these flights are being reinstated to cater to business and leisure travelers seeking new and affordable flying options to access destinations that facilitate business development and offer tourist attractions.

The statement adds that the flight 6E1707 will depart from Delhi everyday at 05:20, arriving at Hong Kong at 13:10 local time. On the return leg, the flight 6E1708 will depart Hong Kong at 15:55, landing in Delhi at 19:20.
