Malaysia, the peninsular paradise, has been one of the most visited outbound destinations by the Indian travellers last year. Ministry of tourism, arts and culture of Malaysia recently organised Tourism Malaysia appreciation awards to honour all the travel trade professionals, airlines, and media that played a pivotal role in promoting Malaysia as a preferred destination. India Outbound Magazine was also honoured during the evening for its contribution in promoting destination Malaysia in the Indian market. On the occasion, three MoU’s were also signed by Malaysian association of tour and travel agents with Travel Agents Association of India, Travel Agent Federation Of India and Outbound Tour Operators Association of India. Sulaiman Bin Suip, the director of Tourism Malaysia, New Delhi, further told India Outbound about the upcoming Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign. As the Malaysia Tourism gears up to target around a million Indian tourists in the upcoming year, the future of Indo-Malaysian touristic relations seems bright.
