Days before revival of regular commercial international flights and with the Thailand government allowing Indian tourists to travel again to the country, Thailand’s ambassador to India, Pattarat Hongtong, held an extensive press briefing about the eased conditions regarding the travel. The hybrid meeting was also attended by senior officials of Thailand Tourism and other stakeholders who underlined the importance of the Indian market for Thailand and innovations for the Indian tourists. The press corps was also given a sample of a wide variety of Thai street food delicacies. In an interview with India Outbound, Vachirachai Sirisumpan outlines his expectations from the Indian market in the current year.
