Despite the fact that connectivity with India remains very limited, Tourism Fiji has seen a sharp recovery, with arrivals reaching 70 pc of pre-pandemic levels in 2022 itself. Kathy Koyamaibole, Regional Director Asia & Pacific, Tourism Fiji tells India Outbound that India is a very strategic market as being a long haul destination, Indian travellers come for longer stays and they also travel in the slow season. Kathy adds that honeymooners and families are the key target segments for Tourism Fiji in India.
