Interview with Bahruz Asgarov, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Azerbaijan Tourism Board


Pitching itself as a destination for all seasons and targetting leisure as well as MICE and Destination Weddings segment, the Central Asian nation of Azerbaijan is expecting a significant increase in traffic from India in 2022. Bahruz Asgarov, Deputy CEO of Azerbaijan Tourism, tells India Outbound that once the direct air connectivity between the two countries is expected to significantly boost the number of Indian tourists visiting the country. He says that as Azerbaijan boasts of 9 of 11 climatic zones, it is a destination worth visiting in all seasons and for all reasons.
