With about 1.2 million international visitors in 2023, Ethiopia has set a target of 2 million for this year, Nasise Chali, Minister of Tourism, tells India Outbound. Chali adds that to get there, Ethiopia will explore new source markets, notably India, with which Ethiopia has long enjoyed good people to people contact. Chali says Ethiopia has many unique assets to make it a competitive tourist destination.
