Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, that claims to be the leading leisure and entertainment destination in the Middle East, prepares for upcoming long weekend opportunities and festivities with a lineup of family-friendly attractions and entertainment.
According to a press statement by the tourism promotion board, Yas Island will host Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards at Etihad Arena in September and where children can meet their favourite online personalities and guests can partake in engaging performances curated for Nickelodeon fans across the globe.
Guests can make the most out of their stay with Yas Island’s ‘Kids Go Free’ packages, unlocking many perks, including free stay, play and dining experiences for kids. The statement adds that this offer can be availed of before September 30 upon booking a stay at one of the island’s participating hotels.
The statement says that guests can witness a performance of ‘Disney on Ice’ as they celebrate a century of wonders this October 11-15 at Etihad Arena. It will feature performances from Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and all of Disney’s beloved characters as they glide on ice with their magical tales and display of art.
The statement goes on to say that Yas Island’s theme parks such as Ferrari World will present ‘Race into Summer’ delights for adventure-seekers and little ones with a wide array of Ferrari-themed experiences and a drone show. A few minutes ahead, guests and families can enjoy adventures at Yas Waterworld and meet their favourite Super Heroes with Warner Bros. World DC Super Hero Season running until September 3.
It adds that the recently added SeaWorld offers guests an opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the sea as they wave goodbye to the final summer days.
