“The New Delhi Book Fair has been a remarkable platform for enhancing cultural ties between Turkiye and India. Our participation has not only showcased the richness of Turkish literature but also opened avenues for meaningful collaborations in the field of publishing. We are delighted to witness the positive response and look forward to deepening the cultural exchange between our two nations,” says Firat Sunel, Turkiye’s Ambassador to India.

The statement adds that Turkiye participated in the fair for the first time in 1986. This year, Türkiye came with about 2,500 works of literature, translated into several languages including Indian languages.
