SeaWorld is celebrating its 60th anniversary with 'So Much More to Sea' campaign

SeaWorld Orlando is hosting unique zoological experiences, including special up-close encounters and interactions with dolphins as a part of its National Dolphin Day celebrations on April 14.

With the United States observing National Dolphin Day on April 14, SeaWorld Orlando has launched special activities and up-close encounters, interactions themed on its most popular animal.

SeaWorld is a marine life theme park and accredited zoo and aquarium that features underwater experiences while educating and inspiring guests to care about marine life.

According to a press statement by SeaWorld, the day will be celebrated as an ‘immersive, dolphin-inspired day’ with add-on experience packages for dolphin interactions in addition to daily educational sessions and presentations.

Celebrating SeaWorld’s 60th anniversary this year with So Much More to Sea campaign, the park’s silver, gold and platinum pass members can take also take advantage of discounts up to 20 pc off zoological experiences, it says. 

“At SeaWorld, our mission extends beyond our parks and resonates across oceans, aiding dolphins in the wild. Through our tireless efforts in rehabilitation and research, we are not just caring for dolphins, but also helping to safeguard their future and the health of our marine ecosystem. Our team’s expertise, coupled with our conservation partners, enables us to ensure dolphins thrive in their natural habitats for generations to come,” says Chris Dold, Chief Zoological Officer of United Parks and Resorts.

The statement adds that for an immersive, dolphin-inspired day, guests can check out the animal experience options at the park, which will feature opportunities to meet the animal care team, participate in a training session and feeding, learn different hand signals used to communicate and get a front row seat to enrichment activities and playtime. 

The statement adds that guests can also go all-in with the option to be a Trainer for the Day, joining the team of zoological experts for a unique, action-packed, behind-the-seas experience. Daily presentations in the parks, exploring dolphins’ natural behaviours, the traits they have evolved to help them survive and thrive as well as what’s behind their playfulness and how it helps with research and discoveries.
