An award presentation took place on April 30 at the Oman Air headquarters in Muscat, Oman to mark their outstanding achievement
Oman Air was recognised as the most reliable mainline airline in the Middle East and Africa in Cirium’s On-Time Performance Report for 2022. According to the Cirium’s figures, Oman Air registered a sharp 91.38 pc punctuality within the Middle East and Africa region Mainline Category, as it expanded operations to meet the 2022 world cup traffic demand.
The statement adds that an award presentation took place on April 30 at the Oman Air headquarters in Muscat, Oman to mark their outstanding achievement. Rahul Oberai, Vice President at Cirium, presented the award to Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air and Captain Nasser Al Salmi, Chief Operating Officer for Oman Air.

“The responsibility for this excellent performance is the hard work of every employee at Oman Air – under the leadership of Abdulaziz Al Raisi. Amid doubt surrounding the 2022 Fifa World Cup, Oman Air rose to the challenge and registered an OTP above 90 pc in November 2022 and above 85 pc in December, while expanding operations to meet the World Cup demand. We recognize the outstanding performance of Oman Air, the operations team, frontline employees, leaders and all the hardworking men and women who make on-time performance a reality,” says Rahul Oberai.
