Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), a leading cruise operator has released its itineraries for 2024–2025, with several new and exotic destinations. According to a press statement, these include the debuts of Norwegian Spirit, Norwegian Sun, and Norwegian Sky in Asia as well as new ports of call in Manama, Bahrain, Rarotonga, Cook Islands, Sokhna, Egypt and Akita, Japan.

The new season of itineraries is anticipated to start in October 2024 and end in December 2025, the statement notes. NCL says it is increasing its trips to Antarctica, South America, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and New Zealand by 37 pc, and its Extraordinary Journeys, the Brand’s selection of immersive and port-rich trips, by 15 pc overall.

To provide passengers with a more comprehensive and port-intensive method to experience South America and cruise to Antarctica, NCL will launch its first service from Ushuaia in Argentina, aboard the Norwegian Star on March 1, 2025. Visitors can experience the cultures of Sao Paulo, Puerto Madryn, Montevideo, and Punta Del Este in Uruguay, as well as the nearby glacial mountains and local wildlife as they cruise through Paradise Bay in Antarctica, officials added.

The statement continues that NCL will offer a seven-day Middle East cruise on Norwegian Sun from Doha, Qatar to Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), leaving April 12, 2025, in what will be the company’s first dedicated Middle East sailing and its first call to Bahrain.

NCL adds that Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Sky will debut together in Asia, offering an extensive eight-month season from October 2024 through May 2025, sailing country-intensive voyages in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan, including a collection of coveted Japanese spring cherry blossom and fall foliage itineraries.
