Red Sea Global appoints global leader in luxury hospitality brand Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, to manage Rosewood Amaala in one of the world’s most pristine environments, the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia.

According to a press statement, Rosewood Amaala will be part of Red Sea Global’s Amaala destination, an integrated wellness haven. Rosewood Amaala joins the brand’s strong pipeline of projects set to open in the Middle East including Rosewood Doha (2023), Rosewood Riyadh (2025) and the yet-to-be inaugurated Rosewood Red Sea.

It goes on to say that the resort aims to explore what it truly means to be regenerative, with unique experiences that weave together wellness and sustainability— an embodiment of Red Sea Global’s understanding that the future of hospitality is rooted in both people and planet. Rosewood Amaala will be surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest reef and the scenic Hijazi mountains.

It adds that the 110 furnished guest rooms and suites as well as the opulent 25 Rosewood Residences on the site will all embody Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ guiding principle, A Sense of Place. The landscaping that will be implemented by famous architecture company ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is intended to do more than simply enhance the property.

The Triple Bay project is the core of Amaala’s first phase, which is now under construction. The project is anticipated to open in 2024 and will include eight resorts with more than 1,200 hotel rooms. When finished, Amaala will include more than 3,000 hotel rooms spread among 25 hotels and about 900 luxurious villas, flats, and estate residences that will support upscale dining, fine shopping, spa centres, and leisure activities.

The statement says that families can enjoy the programs available at the resort’s Rosewood Explorer’s Club which aims to curate meaningful child-friendly experiences. The focal point of the Resort’s wellness offering is the Asaya Spa.
