Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the world’s most ambitious regenerative tourism destinations, The Red Sea and Amaala, marked a successful debut at the 30th edition of South Asian Travel and Tourism Exchange (SATTE). According to a press statement, the strategy follows RSG’s continuing efforts to reinforce their presence in the India market.

“Trade events like SATTE play a catalytic role in helping us further understand the nuances of one of our primary source markets. We are delighted that our first ever association with India’s finest travel show has been a great success,” says Loredana Pettinati, Senior Travel Trade Director, Red Sea Global.

“We are positive that the high-impact meetings conducted with key travel agents, OTAs, media, industry association heads, leading airlines operating in the sector and other prominent industry stakeholders during SATTE will yield good results in the coming months as The Red Sea gears up to welcome its first guests in 2023,” Pettinati adds.

The statement adds that with a combination of unique experiences and attractions expanding over desert dunes, canyons, volcanoes, heritage sites, monuments, exquisite islands, underwater and some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and resorts, the Red Sea aims to set a new standard that will redefine the meaning of luxury and regenerative tourism.

Along the northwest coast is Amaala spanning over 4,155 sqkm of unique terrain. The statement adds that it is an ultra-luxury destination designed to create transformative personal journeys inspired by wellness, arts and culture, featuring the sun and sea, stunning sceneries, mountainous landscapes, golden sands, crystal waters, and untouched coral reefs. Its first phase of development is set for completion by mid-2024.
