Neom, a large development sprawling over 26,500 sqkm in northern Saudi Arabia, along the tip of the Red Sea, has announced its latest luxury offering, Treyam.
In a press statement, Neom says that Treyam is a premier luxury resort situated along the Gulf of Aqaba, where the desert landscape meets the sea, and has been designed in a unique manner positioned.
The statement adds that Treyam has been designed with minimal land intervention and is strategically located across the opening of one of the most beautiful, azure lagoons at the southern end of the Gulf of Aqaba. The resort, with 250 rooms, is elevated 36 metres above the Gulf and it features a bridge-like architecture connecting the northern and southern shores of the Gulf. The statement adds that the façade of the bridge creates a sunset-like illusion from a distance while its upper and lower floors offer panoramic views of the tidal lagoon below and vast skies above.
The visual splendour of Treyam extends further, with a 450-metre-long rooftop infinity pool. From this elevated vantage point, guests are treated to a unique experience, seemingly floating, with a breath-taking panoramic view of the lagoon, the vibrant corals and the tranquil, uninterrupted waters extending to the horizon.
The statement adds that Treyam is designed for adventure and endeavour and boasts many activities such as sailing, diving and other water sports and land-based activities. The resort also comes with its health and wellness offerings and fitness amenities, alongside luxury spa treatments accompanied by a selection of epicurean cuisines and fine dining options.
Neom adds that Treyam is designed to offer a fusion of futuristic architecture with the region’s natural setting for luxurious and sustainable resort ‘escapism’.
