Hilton has announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek, marking the debut of the Virginia-based upscale hospitality brand in Namibia.
According to a press statement by Hilton, its new property is located close to the central business district in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. It features 174-guest rooms reflective of the city’s local and indigenous art. Within 500 metres is the Independence Museum and the Craft Market and it is just one kilometre away from the National Art Gallery of Namibia.

Along with all other signature amenities, Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek offers several food and drink options, including the Pekuta Grill & Bar, 1001 Bar and The Shop and fitness facilities. The hotel also features 66 sqm of flexible meeting space for corporate meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and social events.
The statement adds that the hotel is a 45-minute drive from the Hosea Kutako International Airport and has flight connectivity from all major airports around the world while the local airport, Eros Airport is an eight-minute drive to the hotel.
