Marriott Bonvoy targets Indian market for Maldives properties

Aiming to enhance its marketshare in India, which is the largest source market for Maldives, various leading hotels of the Marriott Group came together under the Marriott Bonvoy flag for a media interaction in New Delhi recently.

With senior officials of various properties, under the bouquet of brands owned by Marriott Group in attendance, the interactions centred around the accessibility of the destination as well as the key attractions of various

Marriott Group properties in the country, including seven resorts across seven of its premium brands, while terming the reasons to visit the Maldives as ‘unending’.

Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands

Located at Fari Islands, in the North Malé Atoll of the Maldives, the Ritz-Carlton Maldives is a 45-minute journey by speedboat or a 10-minute seaplane flight from Malé International Airport featuring 100 villas. Guest villas here range in size from one to three bedrooms, with service refined by an Aris Meeha, butler.

Marriott adds that it offers a choice of culinary venues serving an array of international and local cuisines, in addition to a full suite of fitness and recreational facilities including Jean-Michel Cousteau’s ‘Ambassadors of the Environment’ programme and a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa.
