Hotel firm Hyatt says it will debut in the Spanish city of Seville with the launch of Thompson Seville, a 101-room property that is scheduled to open in 2026.

In a press statement, Hyatt says that Thompson Seville will also come with a rooftop bar and swimming pool, a restaurant, meeting and coworking space and a fitness centre.

It will be the second Spanish hotel under Hyatt’s Thompson brand, after Thompson Madrid which opened in the Spanish capital last summer and will be the fourth property under the brand in Europe, with Thompson Rome due to open in 2024 and followed by Thompson Vienna in 2025.

Thompson Hotels joined Hyatt in 2019, after Hyatt purchased lifestyle hotel management company Two roads Hospitality. In 2019, it joined the World of Hyatt Loyalty Programme in March 2019.

There are currently 18 Thompson hotels across 16 cities, mainly in the United States.
