With a series of new culinary concepts to elevate gastronomy on Vietnam’s central coast, Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa appoints Pankaj Bisht as its new Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage.

In a press statement, Hyatt Regency says that as Executive Assistant Manager, Bisht will oversee the resort’s diverse Food & Beverage offerings, including a series of exciting new concepts and reimagined venues.

The statement adds that Bisht is a skilled hospitality professional who brings more than 23 years of expertise to the premier five-star family resort. He began his professional career in 1999, honing his abilities in the kitchens of renowned hotels in Dubai, including the well-known Burj Al Arab. “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Pankaj to Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa. Our refurbishment has encompassed almost every aspect of our guest journey, including our family facilities, luxurious villas, cultural activities and, of course, our dining and social venues. With his vast knowledge and expertise, Pankaj will help us to raise every aspect of our resort experience to new levels of excellence,” says Adrian Pulido, General Manager of Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa.

The hotel adds that Vive Océane is scheduled to debut in April and will be the only beach club restaurant of its kind in Danang. It is a chic alfresco lounge where guests can unwind and enjoy light nibbles and refreshing cocktails while taking in views of the ocean. The bustling Italian restaurant at the resort has been rebranded Osteria al Mare and entirely revitalised with a casual and modern design that includes freshly prepared pasta and a sociable “Share Share” menu. Terrasse, which has previously undergone renovations and reopened with comfortable sofas, “brazero” fire pits, and daily sunset screenings of silent films, connects these two restaurants.

While Baguette, says the statement, is a great place to get light snacks like sandwiches, cakes, and pastries, Pool House is a great spot to unwind during the day or after dark with authentic Vietnamese cuisine and Western classics overlooking the pool and sea, and the Regency Club promises exclusive benefits, including daily breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails and canapés for guests staying in the premium rooms, suites, and villas. Along with managing these great food and beverage establishments, Pankaj will also be in charge of the resort’s in-room dining, which includes exclusive barbecues for visitors sleeping in villas. Further, he will oversee the resort’s inventive catering services, which range from lavish gala dinners to sophisticated outdoor cocktail events, the hotel adds.
