Congolese hospitality firm Compagnie Hotelière et Immobilière du Congo (CHIC) is set to launch Novotel Lubumbashi, the second Novotel hotel in the Democratic Republic of Congo, located in one of the country’s key commercial and industrial hubs Lubumbashi.
In a press statement, CHIC says that its new venture will feature a 120-room hotel with all modern accommodations and a variety of room options, including standard, executive and suite categories.
The statement adds that its design focuses on creating adaptable spaces with natural tones and raw materials, ensuring a welcoming and multifunctional environment for all guests.
It boasts stunning views of Lake Kipopo and is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Luano International Airport to make it convenient for both business and leisure travellers, the statement adds.

It says that the hotel will feature an array of dining options, including Chai café, Brasserie Kipopo, that delivers a mix of American and local cuisines and Xpressions to transforms into a dynamic lounge bar, featuring Amapiano music, creative cocktails, and a variety of canapés.
The statement adds that the hotel is also equipped with All Connect technology for seamless hybrid meetings, set to suit business travellers. Other amenities include N’fitness gym, swimming pool, which provides panoramic views of Lubumbashi and Lake Kipopo.
