French multinational hospitality company Accor has launched the first property under its Pullman Hotels and Resorts brand in South Africa.

In a press statement, Accor says its new venture, a 104-metre-tall building, was built in the early 1990s and had previously housed a Radisson Blu hotel.

The statement says Pullman Cape Town City Centre is housed within the city’s Triangle House skyscraper on Riebeek Street, close to the Cape Town International Convention Centre.

It adds that features include an outdoor swimming pool, fine dining restaurant The Piano Room, Sea Street Coffee Lounge, and Ghibli Bar and Pool Terrace, as well as six meeting rooms accommodating up to 110 guests.

This summer Accor announced a renewed push of its Pullman brand, that it says is envisaged to become the global business hotel brand to cater to the post-Covid workforce, the new generation of business travellers, multi-hyphenates and digital nomads.
