To commemorate the 22nd edition of the IIFA Awards, Yas Island has created a mural of actor and brand ambassador Ranveer Singh to represent the events in all its glory.

In celebration to this year’s International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) that is set to take place in Etihad Arena at Yas Bay waterfront, Yas Island in Abu Dhabi between June 2 to 4, a colourful and vibrant mural has been created by Yas Island Abu Dhabi, to celebrate its association with Bollywood superstar and its brand ambassador Ranveer Singh and to launch the countdown to the awards which are being hosted for the first time at the entertainment destination.

In a press release, Yas Island says that the mural captures everything IIFA Awards stand for. With its bold and eye-catching nature, it makes the perfect visual to build buzz and anticipation ahead of the event. The mural also creates a lasting legacy for the awards and is a nod to Yas Island’s standing relationship with Ranveer Singh, who is known to be amongst one of the most boundary-pushing actors in Bollywood and is also Yas Island’s brand ambassador, as well as recognising the appeal of the destination to visitors from India and beyond.

Earlier this year, when Yas Island launched its Yas Hai Khaas campaign with Ranveer Singh, it went viral and received exceptional engagement across social media, with over 70 million views across Yas Island’s social channels as well as achieving 80 pc of website traffic for the whole 2019 within the first 10 days of the video’s launch.
