The second edition of Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix 2023 is set to be hosted at the Lusail International Circuit

A lot is going in the Gulf nation of Qatar this year as not only will the country host its second Formula 1 Grand Prix race in October, but has also been voted the Capital of Arab Tourism for the year 2023.

After a highly successful organisation of the FIFA Football World Cup last year, Qatar, with its range of quality hotels, excursions and attractions, has already established itself as a premium sports destination. The country is now getting ready to host the second edition of Formula 1 Qatar Grand Prix.

To be hosted at the Lusail International Circuit, the Qatar Grand Prix will be the second edition of the race happening in the peninsula of Qatar. In a press statement, Qatar Tourism says that the much popular motor race is scheduled from October 6 to October 8, and is the latest to be hosted in the Middle East.

By its range of quality hotels, excursions and attractions, Qatar has already established itself as a premium sports destination that is ready to host the ultimate festival of automotive excellence, says the tourism board.

The press statement says that the trio of Qatar Tourism and Discover Qatar, Qatar Airways has come up with special packages that include 3 nights of hotel accommodations with breakfast, admission to the event on all 3 days, optional airport transfers, and free admission to the Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS) in Qatar.

Three main categories of packages are offered: T2 Grandstand, which has seating at turn 2 and views of the T1 exit and T3 entrance, North and Main, which has seats along the main straightaway and views of the podium ceremony, and Paddock Club, which offers a vantage point directly above the pit lane from which to observe the Formula One circuit.

Qatar Tourism board adds that as the recently chosen Capital of Arab Tourism 2023, the country offers some great leisure experience and sights in addition to the exclusive early bird access to the event. Travellers can embark on a sensory tour of intriguing museums, the Inland Sea, ancient souqs, unique cuisines, and other attractions.

The board adds that Qatar offers free visa on arrival for Indians and the country also has a diverse range of experience to suit various travellers’ interests. With the winding alleyways, state-of-the-art architecture, best middle eastern hospitality, and an exciting lineup of sporting events – travellers are in for a treat.
