Indian full-service carrier Tata SIA Airlines, operating as Vistara, has announced in a policy update that it will now necessarily offer children’s seating arrangements right next to one of the parents.

According to a press statement by Vistara, it has been mandated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation that children up to 12 years of age will now be seated alongside at least one of their parents or guardians who are travelling on the same PNR.
