IndiGo has announced a new international route with the addition of daily flights between Chandigarh and Abu Dhabi from May 16.

Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo has announced daily direct flights between Abu Dhabi the capital of United Arab Emirates and Chandigarh, the joint capital of Punjab and Haryana, starting from May 15.

In a press statement, IndiGo says that this new route is another step towards its international connectivity, with daily non-stop flights set to provide enhanced flight options, seamless connectivity, and ease of accessibility for businessmen and travellers commuting between India and the UAE.

The statement says that IndiGo flight 6E 1417 from Abu Dhabi will depart daily from May 15 at 22:15, to arrive in Chandigarh at 03:30. On the return leg, flight 6E 1418 will take off daily from May 16 from Chandigarh at 02:45 to arrive in Abu Dhabi at 05:15.

With the addition of these flights, IndiGo will now operate 63 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from nine cities in India, promoting travel, trade, tourism and fostering the abundant socio-cultural diversity between the two countries.
