New direct flights between Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and Kannur in Kerala, set to commence from May 9

Further expanding its network, IndiGo is set to commence daily flights between Kannur, a coastal city in Kerala, to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Low-cost Indian carrier, IndiGo, has announced the launch of new direct flights between Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and Kannur in Kerala, set to commence from May 9.

In a press statement, IndiGo says that it will operate daily flights from the coastal city in Kerala to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, providing seamless connectivity for travellers to explore the abundant socio-cultural diversity between the two countries.

The airline adds that its flight 6E 1433 from Kannur will depart every day at 00:40 to reach Abu Dhabi at 02:35 the same day. On the return leg, flight 6E 1434 will take off from Abu Dhabi at 03:45 to land in Kannur at 08:40 the same day.

The statement adds that Abu Dhabi has recently witnessed a surge in travel due to its latest developments. With these new flights to UAE from Kannur, passengers have more travel options during the upcoming summer vacations.

It adds that this direct connectivity also offers customers from Abu Dhabi the opportunity to explore the panoramic small city of Kannur, famous for its vibrant beaches, rich historical monuments, exquisite handloom works and the colourful Theyyam art form.
