Turkish Airlines says it will operate flights to Tripoli three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays

Adding to its growing network of destinations, the national carrier Turkish Airlines has now started flying to Tripoli, the capital of Libya.

Turkish Airlines, the flag carrier of Türkiye, has resumed flying to Tripoli, the capital of Libya. With this, the national carrier now operates 62 destinations across the African continent.

In a press statement, the airline says it will operate flights to Tripoli three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

“As Turkish Airlines, we feel the excitement of connecting continents, this time in Tripoli, the capital of Libya. We are delighted to start flights again to Libya, with which we have historical ties. We will continue to bring cultures together in Africa, as in many continents,” says Bilal Ekşi, CEO, Turkish Airlines.

Turkish Airlines, which flies to 130 countries and 346 destinations, says it aims continues to provide its passengers with unlimited connectivity through new destinations, while also extending its quality and service to every corner of the world.

The statement adds that Turkish Airlines passengers will be able to travel from Istanbul to Tripoli for USD 379 and from Tripoli to Istanbul for USD 299 between March 28 and May 31 for tickets purchased between March 23 and May 15.
