After over seven years, Singapore Tourism Board in India has seen a change at the helm as Regional Director G B Srithar gives way to Markus Tan who takes charge of the India, Middle East, South Asia and African markets from January 1, 2024. To introduce Tan to the Indian market, Srithar organised a series of meetings with travel trade in Delhi and other cities in India. In an interview with India Outbound, Srithar reviews how the Indian market has evolved under his watch and Tan tells India Outbound about his own vision for developing the market further.
