Kenya has recorded a strong recovery in international tourist arrivals in 2022 that reached 70 pc of the 2019 figures, with India, too reclaiming its position as 5th largest source market for Kenya. Fiona Ngesa, Acting Director Market Development of Kenya Tourism Board says that with the spike in Indian outbound tourism, the country could well be the top source market for Kenya. She says that the tourism board will significantly enhance its activities in India to grow the market further.
