Chair of Coordination Commission for Paris 2024 Olympic Games Pierre-Olivier Beckers-Vieujant along with Paris 2024 organising committee President Tony Estanguet held a press conference at the headquarters of the organising committee in Paris on review of preparations for the Games, about 13 months before they begin.

He said that the commission was satisfied with the preparations and lauded the organising committee for its key initiatives to make the games more inclusive and ecological. He added that the commission did not foresee the current geopolitical tensions, notably due to Russia-Ukraine war and the rising tensions between the US and China, disrupting the Games.
