With double digit growth in number of tourists each year, India has moved from 11th biggest to 7th largest source market for Western Australia, the largest Australian State, Rita Saffioti, Deputy Premier & Tourism Minister tells India Outbound. Saffioti, who was in India recently, just months after taking charge as Tourism Minister, adds that to keep the growth going, Western Australia will enhance engagement with the Indian market in 2024 through more marketing and fam trips.
