Hong Kong received about 208,000 Indian visitors in 2023 and they not only stayed longer but also spent much more than ever before, Puneet Kumar, Director South Asia & Middle East of Hong Kong Tourism Board tells India Outbound in an interview. Kumar says that with better connectivity and visa-free travel, Hong Kong can easily double its numbers from India in 2024. He adds that the metropolitan cities like Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru remain key source cities for Hong Kong.
