With over 200 outdoor activities to explore, an exotic local cuisine and a strong presence of the Indian diaspora, the Reunion Island is seeking to attract more visitors from India, says Patrick Serveaux, Vice President of Reunion Island Tourism Board. Serveaux adds that with a direct flight from Chennai to the Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean, the destination is easily accessible from India and that he is planning to organise a trade visit to India shortly to promote the destination.
