Though India currently ranks as its 15th largest source market, Jeff Simpson, Economic Development Director of Mono County in California, says that he expects India to jump to top 10 or even top 5 within the next five years. Simpson adds that India was amongst the first markets to recover from the pandemic and that most of the Indian visitors hail from Delhi and Mumbai, who are mainly attracted by the nature and outdoors in Mono County.
