Having recovered to 85 pc of pre-pandemic tourist arrivals in 2022, Cyprus Tourism expects to surpass the 2019 figures this year. George Minas, Marketing Officer of Deputy Ministry of Tourism, says that one of the biggest attractions of the Mediterranean island is its compact size with diverse landscapes as well as heritage sites that allows visitors to experience it all. Minas adds that though Europe is its key market, Cyprus is also looking at developing Asian markets.
